Am I a Mug? As part of our role, we regularly hold Zoom meetings. These can range from new business meetings and discussions with contractors on large projects, to resident meetings and annual general meetings.
This time, my husband Jonathan — fellow director — was hosting a new business meeting over Zoom. He sat down, armed with a nice cup of coffee, and settled in.The mug he chose was a Christmas present from a colleague during Secret Santa.Emblazoned on the side were the words: “I work with cunts.”
Not quite the impression you want to give to potential new clients.To this day, we’re not sure whether they noticed — or whether they were simply too polite to say anything.
Either way… we got the business
